On May 30th, we’ll be looking for sunny skies and warm fairways as Island Home Care sponsors and participates in “Golf Fore The Cure” at Highland Pacific Golf Course.
Golf Fore The Cure is part of a larger fundraising initiative started by Golf Canada to drive women’s interest in golf, and at the same time raise money for a disease that affects many women and their families. According to the website, “Golf Fore the Cure is all about using the sheer power of women playing the game of golf to make a difference. This is the chance for volunteers across the country to help raise money and assist in a very worthy cause that is close to many women across the country – the fight against breast cancer.”
Elise, Andrea, Donna, Jocelyn and the rest of the Island Home Care team are taking donations all month in anticipation of this event.
